The 6th edition of the prestigious "Secret Light Awards" saw an impressive influx of 168 entries during its nomination phase. The organizing committee, following a meticulous evaluation process, shortlisted 109 companies representing a collective 146 innovative projects. The online voting segment of the awards witnessed unprecedented participation, with over 5.22 million votes cast by the public, culminating in a record-breaking 310,000 votes.
The culmination of this rigorous selection process saw 51 distinguished enterprises and organizations from both the upstream and downstream segments of the national laser industry being conferred with the coveted annual grand prize. Esteemed entities such as HG Laser, Raycus, Hymson Laser, Sunshine Laser, JPT Electronics, HSG Laser, Bodor Laser, Strong Laser, Bystronic DNE, BWT Laser, Ever Bright, Delphil Laser, and EC Ophit, alongside academic powerhouse Tongji University, were among the laureates. The honorees represent the vanguard of the entire laser industry spectrum, including laser components, laser systems, laser processing equipment, laser microprocessing, and ancillary services, spanning key industrial hubs such as Hubei, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Beijing, and Shandong. The majority of the lauded projects are marked by their groundbreaking innovation, with autonomously controlled core technologies. Several of these technologies stand at the forefront within China, with select projects ascending to global preeminence.
